NBCC Membership Options

The Chamber's prime mission is to provide a networking forum for companies and individuals engaged in trade and commerce involving Norway and the UK.

We currently have six different membership opportunities:

Corporate Membership (£390 + VAT)
Norwegian companies with business or business interests in the UK and UK companies with business or business interests in Norway can obtain Corporate membership with NBCC. Corporate membership entitles all employees of a single business unit to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations and information from the Chamber. 5 managers/staff members can be listed by name in the annual Trade Directory. The listed members will receive the Trade Directory and the quarterly magazine Connections.

Sole Trader (£190 + VAT)
Norwegian sole traders with business or business interests in the UK and UK sole traders with business or business interests in Norway can obtain Sole Trader membership with NBCC. Sole Trader membership entitles all employees to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations and information from the Chamber. 2 managers/staff members can be listed by name in the annual Trade Directory. The listed members will receive the Trade Directory and the quarterly magazine Connections.

Individual Membership (£80 Incl. VAT)

Norwegian citizens residing in the UK or individuals of Norwegian, British or other nationalities interested in being a part of the Anglo-Norwegian business community can obtain Individual membership with the Chamber. Individual members are entitled to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations, information, the Trade Directory and newsletters from the Chamber. Individual members will be registered under their own name in the annual Trade Directory.


Young Professionals (£50 Incl. VAT)
Individuals under the age of 35 can obtain YP membership with the Chamber. Norwegian citizens residing in the UK or individuals of Norwegian, British or other nationalities interested in being a part of the British-Norwegian business community. YP members are entitled to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations, information, the Trade Directory and newsletters from the Chamber. YP members will be registered under their own name in the annual Trade Directory.

Student (£20 Incl. VAT)
Full-time students under the age of 35 can obtain Student membership with the Chamber. Student members are entitled to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations, information and newsletters from the Chamber. Student members will be registered under their own name in the annual Trade Directory.

Pensioner Membership (£50 Incl. VAT)
Individual members can obtain a Pensioner membership when they reach retirement age. Pensioner members are entitled to purchase events, products and services at membership rates and to receive invitations, information and newsletters from the Chamber. Pensioner members will be registered under their own name in the annual Trade Directory.

 

The Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to promote trade and investment between Norway and the UK, and to provide an environment for business people who wish to become a part of the Norwegian trade community. The NBCC provides professional networking opportunities and encourages dialogue between members.

The Chambers services have three main functions:

1. To create a forum for professional and social networking for NBCC members.

2. To act as a channel between members and the Norwegian and British authorities on particular topics of special interest to the members.

3. To participate in the debate regarding trade and policy issues, which are of concern to NBCC members both in Britain and Norway.

Most activities focus on members’ meetings and Chamber seminars.

The NBCC is the most important organisation for Anglo-Norwegian business people in the UK.
